Indian Jindal Stainless Limited said its subsidiary JSL Lifestyle has established its first plant for the railway system in Chennai, India, and it has officially started production.
The plant will provide stainless steel components such as side walls, arches and trough floors for all railway passenger cars in Chennai.
The annual production capacity was about 4,800 tons, and the annual production capacity was expected to increase to 7,200 tons in the next few years.
